Alliance Maintenance Facility at Rockhampton Airport

Treasurer Cameron Dick, Senator Anthony Chisholm, Scott McMillan, Mayor Tony Williams - Alliance Opening

Project Scope

This project involves the construction of a dedicated aircraft maintenance facility at the Rockhampton airport including a hangar and supporting infrastructure, for the purpose of servicing Alliance’s aircraft, with the capacity to service up to three aircraft at one time.

Benefits

The facility has the potential to create 225 jobs and inject $30 million into the local economy each year.

This is an incredible opportunity for Rockhampton, to bring Alliance’s aircraft maintenance activities to regional Queensland after being based overseas for several years. It also provides security around Alliance’s long-term aircraft maintenance plans for their fleet of over 70 aircraft.

Funding

The federal government has committed $25 million in funding towards this project.
