North Rockhampton Cemetery
 

The North Rockhampton Cemetery was established more than 130 years ago, and its history is reflected in the many historical monuments throughout. A small portion of the cemetery was set aside to honour some of our war veterans and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The Cemetery is a monumental cemetery only.

Services available include:

  • Burials in monumental areas including pre-existing or reserved graves
  • Ashes interments in pre-existing or reserved graves
  • Memorial Wall for plaques to honour loved ones whose graves are unknown
  • Full set up for burials and ashes interments

Yaamba Road (Cnr Moores Creek Road) North Rockhampton                                         (entrance on Yaamba Road near pedestrian overpass)                                                                                                                            

Service Hours: 

Monday - Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm
After hours, weekend / public holiday services only available by special                            arrangement and will incur extra fees and charges.

Visiting Hours:

Sunrise to Sunset

Tributes:

Limited fresh or artificial flowers to be placed on the grave cover only in                           non-breakable receptacles
