Mount Morgan Water
Fitzroy River Water is a commercialised business unit of Rockhampton Regional Council and is responsible for operating and maintaining water and sewerage assets throughout the Region.
We provide water and sewerage services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Rockhampton, Gracemere, and Mount Morgan. Fitzroy River Water provides water to 32,608 properties (not including vacant land) and sewerage to 30,134 properties (not including vacant land).
Our aim is to enhance the community’s quality of life by providing sustainable water, sewerage and environmental services, through innovation, technical expertise, business efficiency, excellence in customer service and commitment to the environment. We are working to ensure that our Region has reliable water sources that will meet the Region’s growth and provide water through the driest period of climate variability in the future.
