Waste and Recycling

Rockhampton Regional Waste and Recycling (RRWR) is a commercial business unit of Rockhampton Regional Council and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of waste management facilities and kerbside wheelie bin collection services throughout the Rockhampton Region.

Wheelie bin collections and all waste facilities will operate as usual during public holiday periods.

Our Vision | To live in a community without waste. 

Following the Rockhampton Regional Waste and Recycling Strategy 2020-2030 we will become a “zero-waste” community by 2050, diverting 90% of waste from landfill.
