On 1 July 2009 the Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act), replaced the Freedom of Information Act 1992.

Council is making it easier for you to access information. This includes information about our policies, financial reports, public registers and documents relating to our decisions.
Requests for access to documents under Right to Information (RTI) and Information Privacy (IP) legislation exclude documents that are already available via other means.
Our publication scheme describes and categorises information routinely available from the Council. It has been developed to give the community greater access to information held by Council.
