Skate Parks

Calling all skaters, whether you're a beginner learning the ropes or an experienced skater looking for new challenges, Rockhampton has several skate parks for you to hone your skills, build confidence, and connect with a vibrant community of fellow riders.

Rockhampton's skate parks feature a variety of terrains, including ramps, rails, bowls, and street-style obstacles. From smooth concrete surfaces to challenging transitions, our parks cater to skaters of every style and preference.

Our skate parks are open to the public and free of charge. 

Skate parks include: 

Alf Kele Park, Huish Drive Wandal skate park is a local favourite, featuring a diverse range of obstacles, including a large bowl, quarter pipes, and street-inspired elements. The park's layout encourages creativity and provides challenges for skaters of all levels.

Cedric Archer Park, Gracemere is a hub for skaters in the Gracemere area. Its well-designed features, including ramps, banks, and grind rails, make it an ideal spot for skaters looking to improve their skills or simply have a great time with friends.

Boyd Park, Thompson Avenue Mount Morgan is a skate park nestled in the historic town of Mount Morgan. This skate park offers a unique skating experience against the backdrop of charming heritage sites. Skaters can enjoy a mix of street-style elements and ramps, making it a must-visit destination for riders exploring Rockhampton's skate scene.

Stapleton Park (Police Citizens Youth Club), Lakes Creek Road North Rockhampton skate park is located in a scenic spot with views of the Fitzroy River. The skate park offers a range of ramps, rails, and ledges for skaters to practice their tricks. The park's spacious layout allows for smooth flow and ample space for both beginners and advanced riders.

Underwood BMX Park, Park Avenue is the home of Rocky BMX Club. Equipped with a BMX track and club facilities, it is a great spot for BMX enthusiasts of all ages.

Our Mobile Skate Park is currently at Ken Baker Park until September 2024. The ramp is shared around the region at various parks throughout the year.
