Biosecurity Surveillance Program

An approved Surveillance Program for Invasive Biosecurity matter under the Biosecurity Act 2014 will commence Thursday 19 August 2021 and will be in force for a period of two years until Friday 18 August 2023.

The survey area will include localities of Pink Lily, Alton Downs, Nine Mile, Fairy Bower, Gracemere, Kabra, Bouldercombe, Midgee, Port Curtis, Depot Hill, Lakes Creek, Parkhurst and Koongal.

Survey areas will be conducted in stages, with residents being notified by mail at least two weeks before surveillance will be carried out in the area.

A copy of the biosecurity program authorisation is available for free inspection below or purchase for $3.00 at any of Rockhampton Regional Council Customer Service Centre's until the end of the program.
