Rockhampton Riverside on Quay Street

The Rockhampton Riverside Precinct is home to a lush green oasis that stretches over two kilometres along the Fitzroy River and encompasses three of the region's parks. Stroll along the heritage soaked sandstone boulevard on Quay Street and across the lower bank boardwalk surrounded by lush plantings, public artworks, and a picturesque boat dotted vista.

The CBD area is home to the Fitzroy River Adventure Playground, Amphitheatre and the Rod Laver Plaza. Continue along Quay Street to Victoria Parade to come across COl Brown Park, a stunning area commonly used for picnics, birthdays and weddings.

A short 1.9km from the Fitzroy Adventure Playground, you will find Alf Kele Memorial Park or fondly known by locals as the Dinosaur Park. This park is fully equipped with under cover BBQ areas, off-leash dog area, bathrooms, play equipment and skate park, this park is fit for the whole family and is a favourite birthday party destination. The Park is also across the road from the 2nd World War Memorial Aquatic Centre making it easy to spend the day enjoying this precinct.
