Alliance Maintenance Facility at Rockhampton Airport

This project involves the construction of the civil and associated works for Alliance Airline's new aircraft maintenance facility.

Botanic Gardens and Zoo Redevelopment

Campbell Street, Rockhampton City - Roadworks

Roadworks are about to commence on Campbell Street between Albert Street and Cambridge Street, Rockhampton City. The works to be undertaken include the replacement of the existing kerb and channel, road pavement repairs and asphalt overlay.

Announcement : During this time, the road will be under speed restrictions and at time there will be lane closures and detours.

Farm Street and Alexandra Street - Reconstruction Works - Stage 3

Works have commenced on the reconstruction of the intersection of Farm and Alexandra Streets. To ensure the safety of workers and the public, temporary road closures and other traffic changes will be put in place over the course of the project.

Announcement : Stage 3 commenced on Saturday 25 February 2023.

Glenmore Water Treatment Plant Upgrade

This project includes designing and constructing a complete upgrade of all the electrical and control systems of the treatment plant including replacement of electrical cabling, a new main switchboard, chemical dosing systems and the associated installation including replacement of all filters.

Lower Dawson Road - Part 2 - Footpath Works

The works to be undertaken will include installation of stormwater drainage and construction of a concrete footpath along Lower Dawson Road. Works are scheduled to commence early October 2022 and are estimated to be June 2023.

Announcement : During this time, temporary speed and lane closure will be in place along Lower Dawson Road starting 13 October 2022, estimated to be completed in June 2023.

Norman Road and McMillan Avenue, Park Avenue - Roadworks

Drainage works are about to commence on Norman Road and McMillan Avenue, Parkhurst. The works to be undertaken will include the construction of one box culvert under Norman Road and another under McMillan Avenue, as well as the excavation of a large open drain which will allow stormwater to flow through into Limestone Creek.

Announcement : During the construction, McMillan Avenue will be closed for approximately 26 weeks from 27 September 2022 with a side track in place. Norman Road will be closed from 17 January 2023 for approximately 12 weeks.
