Rodboro Street, Parkhurst (McKean Street to Water Street) - Roadworks

Announcement

During this time, Rodboro Street will be subject to temporary reduced speeds and occasional road closures accompanied by signed detours.

Council requests that drivers exercise caution during these works; obeying all signage, and do not park vehicles on the road whilst the works are being undertaken.

  • Project scheduleWorks are scheduled to commence Monday, 26 May 2025 and are estimated to take approximately four (4) months to complete, subject to weather and ground conditions.

Roadworks are about to commence along Rodboro Street from McKean Street to Water Street, Berserker. The scope of works includes constructing a 1.5 metre-wide concrete footpath, widening sections of the road, reconstructing kerb and channel, installing rubber roundabouts and concrete traffic islands, and providing associated signage and line marking.
