Trendy Trash now online only

QMR Trendy Trash, located at the Lakes Creek Road Waste Management Facility, is closing their physical doors temporarily to help limit the potential spread of COVID-19.

The store is looking at ways to move online, and customers can find more details and updates on the Trendy Trash Facebook page: www.facebook.com/RockyTrendyTrash/

All other services at the Lakes Creek Waste Management Facility are operating as normal, with payment by card or account rather than cash.

As always, customers are still able to drop off a range of items for free at the recycling area, including:

  • commingled household recyclables

  • bulk cardboard

  • e-waste

  • pre-loved household items (now limited)

  • 20L domestic motor oil / cooking oil & their containers

  • vehicle batteries

  • architectural paint

  • flares & EPIRBS

  • gas bottles & cylinders

  • fire extinguishers (water, CO2 & powder only)

  • scrap metal  & white goods (microwave, fridge, freezer, air conditioner, stove, washing machine)
