The project will be delivered in stages, with temporary speed reductions, road closures, detours and traffic control measures in place. Council requests that drivers exercise caution during these works, obeying all signage.
Road reconstruction works are about to commence in Park Avenue, including:
• Haynes Street from Main Street to Park Street
• Main Street from Haynes Street to Edgar Street
Works will include stormwater upgrades, kerb and channel replacement, footpath replacement, water main replacement, pedestrian crossing upgrade, asphalt overlay and line marking.
