Partial road closures will be in place throughout the beginning of Stage 1 works. A full road closure of Kent Street and Derby Street will occur after the initial Stage 1 works are completed, allowing for a full reconstruction of the intersection.
Roadworks have commenced in Derby Street, Rockhampton at the intersection of Kent Street and Denison Street. These works are estimated to take approximately seven (7) months to complete, subject to weather and ground conditions. Works will be carried out in two stages:
• Stage 1 - Kent Street Roundabout
• Stage 2 - Denison Street Traffic Calming
Council requests that drivers exercise caution and obey all signage whilst the works are being undertaken.
