Trainee and Apprenticeships

A trainee or apprenticeship is a good opportunity to enter the workforce or change careers. As a trainee or apprentice you will gain valuable work experience, learn new skills on (in the workplace) and off the job (in a classroom), while undertaking a nationally recognised qualification.

Rockhampton Regional Council offers a number of trainee and apprenticeships each year depending on the business requirements. This year, we are excited to be recruiting for the following:

  • Business Administration Trainee
  • Civil Construction Trainee
  • Apprentice Plumber
  • Apprentice Electrician
  • Apprentice Mechanic
  • Apprentice Mechanical Fitter
  • Apprentice Landscape Construction
