The Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008 has been introduced to establish a consistent approach to animal management in Queensland.
The Queensland Government has introduced new laws to promote the responsible breeding of dogs. Any person who breeds a dog requires a Supply Number within 28 days of a litter being born.
