Roadworks have commenced in Cherryfield Drive from Ingram Drive to Johnson Road. The works to be undertaken will include widening the northbound lane, installation of kerb and channel and an asphalt overlay.
During this time, the northbound lane of Cherryfield Road will be closed to through traffic, with a detour in place via Audrey Drive and Lucas Street. Adjacent residents will still have access via the Southern end of the service road.
The asphalting and linemarking works will take 2-3 days and they will be done just before completion of the project under traffic control.
