Easter Weekend Closures

Please note - Council offices will be closed from 5pm Thursday 2 April and will reopen on Tuesday 7 April at 8am. If you require an urgent response, please contact us via 07 4932 9000.

Waste facilities around the Region will operate per normal daily opening hours and bin collections will occur as usual on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Canning Street, The Range - Roadworks

Announcement

During this time, Canning Street will be reduced to a one-way road with the travel direction from North Street towards Cambridge Street. A temporary lane closure and detour at the intersection of Canning Street and Albert Street will be in place, requiring all Albert Street traffic to turn left only.

Roadworks are continuing in Canning Street between North Street and Cambridge Street, The Range. The works to be undertaken will include the installation of stormwater drainage, reconstruction of kerb and channel and road pavement, construction of concrete paths and centre medians, placement of new asphalt surfacing, and installation of signage and line marking.
