Broadway Street, Depot Hill (East Street to Quay Street) – Roadworks

Announcement

During this time, Broadway Street will be closed to through traffic from 417 East Street to Quay Street. Access to businesses and residences within this section will be maintained.

Council requests that drivers exercise caution during these works, obeying all signage, and do not park vehicles on the road whilst the works are being undertaken.

  • Project scheduleWorks are scheduled to commence late April/early May 2025 and are estimated to take approximately eight (8) working weeks to complete, subject to weather and ground conditions.

Roadworks have commenced in Broadway Street, Depot Hill (between East Street and Quay Street). The works to be undertaken will include construction of a 7-metre-wide bitumen sealed roadway with kerb on the northern side.
