How To Apply
Applying for RADF funding is a straightforward process.
Step 1 – Discuss Your Project
Submit your Expression of Interest and contact the RADF Liaison Officer to discuss your project idea. This is strongly recommended and can help improve your application.
Step 2 – Review the Guidelines
Carefully read the RADF Guidelines, assessment criteria and eligibility requirements to ensure your proposal aligns with program objectives.

Step 3 – Complete Your Application
Select the appropriate funding category and complete the relevant application form.
Ensure your application includes:
- A clear project description
- Project objectives
- Timeline and milestones
- Project budget
- Supporting documentation
- Evidence of community or artistic outcomes
Step 4 – Submit Your Application
Applications can be submitted via email to: RADF@rrc.qld.gov.au
Applications received after the closing date may not be considered.
Step 5 – Assessment and Notification
Applications are assessed against published criteria and recommendations are provided to Council for consideration.
Successful applicants will receive a funding agreement outlining project obligations and reporting requirements.
Successful Applicants and Outcome Reporting
Successful applicants are required to submit an Outcome Report within eight weeks of completing their funded project or event.
Outcome reporting helps Council and the Queensland Government understand the impact of funded activities and demonstrates the value of investing in the arts and cultural sector.
Reports may include:
- Project outcomes
- Audience participation data
- Images and documentation
- Financial acquittal information
- Community impact measures
- Media and promotional coverage
