The Rockhampton region offers an exciting range of entertainment, arts, cultural, community and sporting programs and events at its many venues which are listed in the below events calendar.  

Would you like to add your event to our community calendar? 

Community groups and businesses are encouraged to use our My City platform to promote their events on Council's event calendar below. To do this please follow the below steps.

  1. If you do not have a My City account please click here to create one. Your My City account is free and it allows you to load and manage your event. 
  2. If you already have a My City account please click here.

Event submissions are approved within three business days. If you have not supplied all required information your event may be rejected. Changes may be made to your event prior to approval in order to improve the promotion of your event with a more dynamic image or a correction of text formatting/typos.

Marvellous, Magnificent, MEGA Manga Exhibition @ Southside Library

The Anime/Manga Club will showcase their talents and artwork this summer.
Grand Opening Monday 15 December 2025 4:00pm - 5:00pm at Southside Library.

Read & Play @ Southside Library

06 Jan 2026 Talk, Read, Sing and Play together to build a strong foundation for your child's language and literacy development.
An exciting range of toys, games, puzzles, puppets, building blocks and activities are set up in the Fitzroy Room each week for you and your child to discover and play with together.
The drop-in sessions are ideal for young children aged 5 years and under and their parents or carers.
