Easter Weekend Closures

Please note - Council offices will be closed from 5pm Thursday 2 April and will reopen on Tuesday 7 April at 8am. If you require an urgent response, please contact us via 07 4932 9000.

Waste facilities around the Region will operate per normal daily opening hours and bin collections will occur as usual on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

RACQ CapRescue Spring Picnic

Join us in welcoming the most vibrant season of the year at the RACQ CapRescue Spring Picnic, presented by Civil Support on Sunday 27th August.

Guests will laze away their Sunday afternoon soaking in the change of season, whilst enjoying a spring-inspired feast, whimsical workshops, and laidback entertainment, all whilst supporting our life-saving service.

Tickets are on sale now! Tickets are $80 each and includes an individual grazing box (savory and sweet), a welcome drink (non-alcoholic cocktail), live music and entertainment, a fashion parade, a lucky door prize and optional workshops (additional cost).
