THE NILE: AN AGES OLD JOURNEY
Marilyn will share an illustrated talk on her recent travels in Egypt. Sailing six hundred miles up the Nile River from Cairo to Aswan over fourteen days, aboard a restored steamer, the journey took in river and desert landscapes, as well as temple and tomb sites.
This travel story will be both informative and entertaining for those fascinated by the culture, art and monuments of Ancient Egypt, and its landscape.
