Once you’re deemed eligible for our services, My Aged Care will create a referral and send it to us, or provide you with a referral code. When we receive the referral, we’ll get in touch to discuss the services available to you.
If you've already been assessed and are registered with us, simply call us directly, to discuss your needs.
In every instance, requests for assistance are determined on a case by case basis using Commonwealth Home Support Program - Program Manual 2025-2027 for guidance and are subject to availability of funding.
CQ Home Assist Secure is an approved aged care provider for the delivery of the following service types:
Home Maintenance and Repairs
The intent is to assist with maintenance of the house and garden to ensure a safe and habitable home environment.
We can provide essential minor repairs and maintenance:
- that the individual used to be able to do themselves (such as cleaning gutters, replacing lightbulbs and repairing broken door handles); or
- that are required to maintain safety; or
- that are required to address an imminent age-related safety risk
Home Adjustments
The intent is to assist with modifications to an older person's home to prevent accidents and support independent living.
- All home modifications provided under this service must be prescribed by a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT). An OT referral is mandatory before any adjustments can be supplied, installed, or funded. This ensures that modifications are appropriate, safe, and tailored to your individual needs.
