Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for CHSP is determined by My Aged Care 

To access services you must have care needs and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Be aged 65 years or over, or
  • Be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person aged 50 years or over, or
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness, and aged 50 years or over.

If you are seeking access to CHSP services for the first time, you will need to contact My Aged Care to create a client record and arrange an assessment of your care needs.
