Rockhampton Regional Council is giving residents 500 reasons to sign up to have their rates sent electronically rather than via the mail.

By simply signing up to “eNotices”, local residents will go into a draw to will a $500 voucher from a local business of their choice.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Tony Williams said all residents need to do to be in the draw is sign up to receive their rates, water and/or animal registration notice by email instead of post, and then enter our prize draw.

“Rates have been sent out this week so people will start receiving these soon,” Mayor Williams said.

“The great news is that you can now get your rates, water bill and animal registration in your email inbox as soon as it’s available when you sign up to eNotices.

“We are all for making things easier for people, and transitioning to eNotices is our way of helping people simplify their bills, streamlining our processes, and making wiser use of our resources which is great news for everyone.

“It’s easy, efficient and environmentally friendly to sign up to eNotices and right now by signing up you can win yourself a $500 voucher.

“It takes less than 5 minutes to sign up and enter, and those few minutes could get you $500 – it’s a no brainer really!

Mayor Williams encourages the community to get in quick and sign up now while they have the chance to win.

“The lucky winner of the competition will receive a $500 voucher for a local business – they can choose anything from a pamper package at a local spa to a voucher for food shopping or something else entirely.

“To be in the draw to win make sure you enter before 5pm on Wednesday 1 September by heading to our website.”
