The Capricornia National Seniors Australia (CNSA) presented a community-based creative art workshop for over 50’s, taking place during Seniors Week 2018. The workshop was delivered by an instructor from local Rockhampton business, InspirexArt.
The workshop was held in Norman Gardens on the 22nd August 2018.
Number of participants:
Number of artists/cultural workers employed:
Number of people employed in other paid positions:

Percentage of survey respondents answering 'good' or 'excellent' to the question: Overall, how would you rate this activity? (response options - excellent, good, average, poor, very poor)
$1,650
The CNSA's key learning from this event was to focus on holding only one activity each Senior's Week - in this instance, they felt they had stretched themselves too far and planned too many simultaneous events, meaning that Seniors found it difficult to choose which event to attend. They will plan to bring generations together for their next year's Seniors Week activity.
“I was surprised at my own talent.”
