Rockhampton Zoo will be closed to the public all day on Wednesday 7 September to allow for essential tree trimming and grounds maintenance.
Zoo staff will still be working and caring for the animals during the closure.
Rockhampton Zoo will reopen as normal on Thursday 8 September, from 10am-4pm.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
