Partial Closure at Rockhampton Zoo

Due to last night's storm, a large eucalyptus tree has fallen in the centre of the Zoo, obstructing pathways. While the Zoo remains open, access will be redirected.

  • To access exotic animals, use the Ann Street entrance.
  • To access native animals, use the access gate at the Yeppoon Lagoon.

Signage is in place to guide visitors.

Please note that the Kangaroo and Eagle Keeper Talks are cancelled today and tomorrow.

The tree is expected to be removed by tomorrow afternoon.
