Stanley Street & Bolsover Street Intersection - Roadworks

Announcement

Roadworks are about to begin at the intersection of Stanley Street and Bolsover Street, Rockhampton. The works will include the construction of a new roundabout, reconstruction of kerb and channel and concrete footpaths, asphalt surfacing, linemarking and landscaping.

  • Project scheduleWorks are scheduled to commence during the week starting 12 October 2026 and are estimated to take approximately sixteen (16) working weeks to complete, subject to weather and ground conditions. The construction period includes the Christmas – New Year holidays.

During this time, the intersection of Stanley Street and Bolsover Street will be closed with detours in place.

Council asks drivers to exercise caution during these works, obey all signage and do not park vehicles on the road whilst the works are being undertaken.
