Ford Street, Berserker - Roadworks

Announcement

Roadworks are about to begin in Ford Street, from High Street to 66 Richmond Street, Berserker. The works will include road pavement replacement and concrete kerb and channel construction.

  • Project scheduleWorks are scheduled to commence Wednesday, 7 October 2026 and are estimated to take approximately twenty (20) working weeks to complete, subject to weather and ground conditions.

Some residents within the work area may experience temporary overnight driveway access restrictions at various stages of the project, including during excavation, kerb construction, and driveway reconstruction works. Access to some driveways within the work area will also be unavailable during the day while roadworks are underway. Driveway access will be progressively restored as works advance, with access reinstated at the end of each shift.

Council requests that drivers exercise caution during these works, obey all signage and do not park vehicles on the road whilst the works are being undertaken.
