RockyStart Inc. works with people, organisations and networks to enhance capacity building, peer support, networking, connections and professional development.  Through our not for profit status, we will organise, facilitate and support opportunities that will benefit local children, and promote the importance of the health, development and wellbeing for every young person in our region.

The RockyStart Inc. is focussed on providing networking opportunities for Early Years Professionals, including families and organisations across our region.  We engage with organisations and people that work and/or interact with children birth to 12 years in Central Queensland.

We do this through the following groups/networks:

EYN – The Early Years Network was established in 2014 with the intention of bringing together services that support children aged birth to 12 years and their families. Monthly meetings provide an opportunity for information sharing, capacity building, and collaboration that contributes to the positive health and wellbeing of children in our community. The EYN maintains an email network to support members and share relevant information.

Educator Events – Educator Events was established to help source and provide opportunities for professional development and networking, for all Early Years Professionals in the Central Queensland community, as well as recognise the significant contribution and services our Educators provide to our children and this region.  Activities may include a ball to celebrate and connect Early Years Professionals, bus tours and Professional Development Opportunities.

Community Events – RockyStart Inc. provides backbone support to a number of community working parties to host events across our region.
