The Golden Mount Festival is an action-packed weekend of events and activities. The Festival kicks off on Friday, 1 May with a Family, BBQ and Movie, Fireworks night at the No. 7 Dam.
The traditional events include the annual Gold Dig, Running the Cutter and the Golden Mount Festival Procession. Each year the association chooses a theme for the procession to give people inspiration to create out of this world floats. In 2026 the theme is "Planet Earth - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle".
