The QMAT Capricornia Branch is a financially viable not-for-profit organisation working with volunteer school teachers to support the pedagogy and current content knowledge of teachers within the local region. The QMAT Capricornia Branch has organised and managed numerous workshops, conferences, professional devleopment opportunities, mathematics team challenges and mathematics quizz nights over the past 10 years. A strong executive team has driven these events which have resulted in significant benefits for both the Central Queensland students but also mathematics staff.
