Based on the Rockhampton Hospital Grounds via Quarry Street, Rockhampton:

• ACUTE CARE TEAM – 1300 64 22 55 (1300 MH CALL) First point of contact to mental health services.

• INPATIENT UNITS – Adult and Older Persons facilities

• CHILD AND YOUTH SERVICES – mental health care service for children and young people aged up to 18 years. Many young people can get help for mental health from schools, community groups, or their GP. However, some people need more specialised care. If this applies to you or your child, you can ask for a referral through your GP or call us on 1300 64 22 55.

• ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS SERVICE – Utilising a range of interventions including screening, opportunistic and brief intervention, assessment, individual treatment planning, case management, individual and group counselling, psychotherapy, and referral for detoxification, residential rehabilitation or other appropriate services.

Based at Sterling Place: Community Mental Health Services Building 156 Bolsover Street, Rockhampton:

• COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE – Provide comprehensive clinical assessment and care co-ordination and management for ongoing treatment needs for adults affected by mental illness. Specified treating groups available: Outpatient, Adult, Older Persons, Forensic, Court Liaison.
