The mind is constantly wondering to the past and future. This gives stress to the mind. Mindfulness helps keep the mind and body healthy.
In these sessions we focus on the four foundations of mindfulness, which are mindfulness of the body, thoughts, feelings and mental states.
It helps us to develop and maintain calmness and focus on other wholesome states of mind. These are not only beneficial to us but the benefits flow on to others we come into contact with.
These classes are given by Sama a buddhist nun in the Theravada tradition.
