U3A monthly general meeting

U3A Rockhampton (University of the Third Age) October general meeting will be held on the second Monday in October at Bauhinia House, North Rockhampton. Time 9 am for 9.20 am start. The next meeting is Monday, 13th October. Please come along and enjoy a free cup of tea/coffee.

Our guest speaker for October meeting will be Clare Blake, a veteran broadcaster with over 25 years in radio and television, best known as a weather presenter for Network Ten and talk back host on 4BC. Clare will share her unique insights into science communication and life in the Australian outback. Clare is also a Community Officer with the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Brisbane.
