Easter Weekend Closures

Please note - Council offices will be closed from 5pm Thursday 2 April and will reopen on Tuesday 7 April at 8am. If you require an urgent response, please contact us via 07 4932 9000.

Waste facilities around the Region will operate per normal daily opening hours and bin collections will occur as usual on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

2026 Management Committee

The next U3A Rockhampton (University of the Third Age) general meeting will be held on Tuesday 7th April 2026 in the newly refurbished Frenchville Sports Club, North Rockhampton. All members and guests are welcome. This event is free and includes a cuppa. Please be there by 9 am for a prompt 9.20 am start in order to be greeted, collect activity sheets and be seated..

Guest speakers will be Ken & Tash from RRC Disaster Management Section.  They will demonstrate the Emergency Dashboard and give a run down on their role in the recent disaster.
