Council Officers will be conducting inspections at properties in Frenchville from 6 July to 27 September as part of Council’s annual Animal Inspection Program. Inspection times will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Our 2026 Oily Rag Bike Show will be held for the second time at the Kele Pavilion in Rockhampton Showgrounds on Saturday 19th September from 12:00PM and Sunday the 20th from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Entry is via Gate 6 on Lion Creek Road.
Display entries are open to bikes and bike-related machinery older than 30 years. Theire is no entry fee for exhibitors, however bikes must be registered prior to the event (Ph Glenn Thompson 0466 791 184).
The Historic Motorcycle Club of Queensland promotes the restoration, maintenance, display, and riding of historic motorcycles; and the fellowship shared by motorcycle enthusiasts. Our 2024 show featured over 100 older bikes of all genres, and some interesting motorcycle-related exhibits. It was a great social event for viewing and talking about bikesa great social event for viewing and talking about bikes, and feedback from visitors across a variety of age groups indicated that many met fellow bike enthusiasts they hadn’t seen for a long time. It is hoped to create more good times like this in September.
