2 Days of Barrel Racing Competition with competitors all over Queensland, held at the iconic Gracemere Saleyards, now known as CQLX. The competition will take place in Austadium the indoor shed, where competitors and spectators alike can escape the heat and enjoy the days events.

Barrel Racing is a horse speed event with the fastest times around a clover leaf pattern with electronic clocks recording the times and being placed into divisions to format the winning runs. It is a sport that is very much a family sport with our Pee Wees on leads, unassisted Pee Wees (who can run a hole in the wind), Juniors and Open competitors.

A free concert, "Queensland Rocks" with The Ferryman will be enjoyed for all on Saturday Night 30th October, 7pm-11pm. The Ferryman is popular solo local performer whose jam sessions are well known at hotels in Rockhampton. We can't wait to celebrate our horses, our lifestyle, our friendships and enjoy reconnecting once again for two days of competition and fun.

The weekend will culminate in awards and presentation at the completion of competition on Sunday afternoon.
