Waste and Recycling Collection Services Update

Rockhampton Regional Council advises that waste and recycling collections are continuing as usual where road conditions permit.

Current weather conditions, including localised flooding, may prevent collection vehicles from accessing some properties. Council is also mindful of conditions on rural roads and the need to minimise damage for local users.

If your bin has not been serviced, please leave it on the kerb, where safe to do so, to allow for a non‑scheduled collection where possible.

Council is monitoring road conditions closely and will provide a service at the earliest opportunity. In some cases, this may not occur until the next scheduled collection day. Council appreciates the community’s patience during this time.
