Residents of the Rockhampton Region have just one week left to win a $500 gift voucher for a local business of their choice.

The eNotices prize draw was launched last month and is open to anyone who pays rates, water, or animal registrations to Rockhampton Regional Council.

Acting Mayor Neil Fisher said the countdown was now on.

“You have just seven days left to enter this great prize draw, and the good news is that it’s free and easy to enter” said Acting Mayor Fisher.

“All you need to do is sign up to receive eNotices – you’ll get your bills via email instead of in the post – and then enter the draw.

“The winner will be able to choose to get a $500 voucher for a local business which would be a brilliant bonus by anyone’s standards, but especially at this time of year.”

Acting Mayor Fisher said eNotices had benefits for both Council and the community.

“eNotices mean you can receive your rates, water, or your animal registration via email so it’s always there whenever you want to check it.

“You’ll be able to log in, change your details, and view your notices using this free service.

“It also helps our community reduce our carbon footprint – every letter we don’t have to print and post is good for the environment.

“eNotices help Council save money too, meaning we can put that money to better use for our residents.”

To be in with a chance of winning head to rrc.enotices.com.au and sign up to eNotices using your latest rates, water, or animal registration notice, then enter the prize draw www.rrc.qld.gov.au/win500. Both of these steps need to be completed by 5pm on Wednesday 16 December.
