Council Officers will be conducting inspections at properties in Frenchville from 6 July to 27 September as part of Council’s annual Animal Inspection Program. Inspection times will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Mayor Margaret Strelow returned from Singapore on Sunday saying the meetings and conversations were valuable and is now looking forward to further meetings next year.
“I met with Mr Thomas Ching, Vice President (Catering Marketing) of SATS Ltd, the Singapore parent company of the local logistics and food providers for the military exercises at Shoalwater Bay, and while the conversations were wide-ranging, they were very encouraging,” Mayor Strelow said.
“Although I’m unable at this stage to discuss the finer details, there is scope to explore other food supply networks across Asia -and of course we know our beef is 2nd to none.
“We’re both interested to explore these business opportunities within the Rockhampton Region and I’m anticipating further meetings taking place in Rockhampton early in the New Year."
