The Airservices team at Rockhampton Airport have been closely reviewing Santa’s flight path and have confirmed that Santa and his reindeer are tracking well to arrive before Christmas morning.
Chair of Rockhampton Airport Councillor Neil Fisher confirmed that Santa’s journey is progressing well and he is on track to deliver presents this Christmas.
“Our Airservices team at Rockhampton Airport have advised all pilots in the area to look out for the man in red,” Councillor Fisher said.
“All aircraft have been requested to provide Santa with right of way on Friday night to ensure he can make all of his deliveries in time.
“We can’t confirm when Santa will be arriving in the Rockhampton Region but it is known that he only arrives when children are sleeping.
“This is generally between 9pm and midnight on December 24 although we are still waiting on confirmation from Santa’s workshop.
“I am looking forward to following along with Santa’s journey myself with my two grandchildren on Christmas Eve.”
Santa’s journey can be tracked using the Airservices countdown tracker at https://santa.airservicesaustralia.com/
