$5 entry to Rockhampton show

Start getting excited for some boot-scooting, side-splitting, adrenaline pumping fun, because the Rockhampton Agricultural Show has just announced its entertainment line-up!

Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said that there are some absolutely incredible acts coming to the Show from across the country.

“The 2019 Rocky Show is going to be like nothing the Region has seen before,” said Mayor Strelow.

“We’ll have Shannon Noll serenading the crowd from the Rocky Show Arena Stage, Team D-MAX wowing spectators with their unbelievable precision driving, as well as all of the acrobatics and shenanigans of the hilarious Crack-Up Sisters.

“For our younger visitors – and those who are young at heart – there’ll be the opportunity to explore their senses at a cooking class and be amazed by coloured fireballs and nitrogen clouds at the science show.

“Visitors of all ages can also get up close and personal with creepy crawlies at the snake and reptile show, then head over to the petting zoo to find some much cuddlier animals, including a llama, lambs, and a miniature donkey.

“Come nightfall, everyone will have their eyes on the sky as we launch the largest, most interactive 3D Fireworks and laser light presentation ever preformed in the Rockhampton region.

“There’s so much more that will be happening at the Show - from fashion parades to a horse and livestock stunt show – and all of this is on top of everyone’s favourite rides, sideshows, showbags, and competitions.

“With an unprecedented $5 entry fee, this year’s Rocky Show promises to be an incredible, action-packed extravaganza for the whole family!”
