Rockhampton Flood Update – 18 January 2026

The Bureau of Meteorology has provided the Rockhampton Local Disaster Management Group with an updated flood forecast.

The Fitzroy River in Rockhampton is now expected to rise to 7 metres on Monday and peak at a moderate level, below 8 metres on Wednesday.

Residents in low-lying areas are urged to review the latest information and flood maps and take necessary steps to prepare.

The next update from the BOM will be 6pm Sunday January 18.
