The Rockhampton Agricultural Show is bringing some big names to the program for their 150th Anniversary event on 14-16 June.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Tony Williams said this is the biggest entertainment program the Show has delivered in recent years and rightly so for our 150th celebration.

“The 150th Anniversary Rockhampton Agricultural Show is going to be like nothing the Region has experienced before,” Mayor Williams said.

“Visitors to the Show can enjoy all the show favourites including, showbags, rides, sideshow alley, woodchop and the traditional competitions for horses, cattle, dogs and more. But for the young and young at heart you can expect something truly spectacular!

“Get ready for an extraordinary entertainment experience that will take you back to the Cretaceous period! We've got something truly special in store: a moving, roaring dinosaur baby zoo, Dillo the Dinosaurs Dance Time and a world-class comedy ventriloquist show from Dinkum Dinosaurs!

“Farmer Dave and his Muttley Crew will be wowing crowds in Centre Ring with mind-blowing stunts from his cute canine performers in the Fungility and K9 Super Wall Shows. Don’t miss the meet and greets with Farmer Dave in the Dog Arena on Wednesday and Friday of the Show.

“But here’s the SHOWSTOPPER! Humphrey B Bear and his friends will have you toe-tapping, finger clicking and grinning as he dances, prances and explores his way through the ages in a show packed full of interactive song and dance.”

Acting Executive Manager Advance Rockhampton Zac Garven said this year’s Show delivers on the program and price.

“We’ve ensured the Show is affordable for the whole community this year with the introduction of discounted family passes and online savings for those that purchase early,” Mr Garven said.

“Whether you like sideshows and showbags, dagwood dogs and daring stunts, crafty competitions, or rides and reptile shows, the Rockhampton Agricultural Show has something for everyone this year.”

The Rockhampton Agricultural Show is on at the Rockhampton Showgrounds 14-16 June 2023.
