Do you have an interest in the treatment and supply of urban, rural or industrial water?

The 41st Queensland Water Industry Operations Conference and Exhibition will be held in Rockhampton next week, and is open to all interested water industry personnel.

The national conference is being presented by the Water Industry Operators Association of Australia (WIOA) and will be hosted by Regional water service providers Fitzroy River Water.

The event is expected to attract more than 600 attendees from around Australia; with an opportunity to share the latest in ideas and view equipment and technology available to operators of water and wastewater systems.

Council spokesperson for Fitzroy River Water Cr Neil Fisher said it’s a tremendous opportunity for the Region, interested community members and Fitzroy River Water.

“This is a terrific conference and a great chance to learn about the latest in water supply and treatment,” Cr Fisher said.

“It’s also very exciting for FRW to have the opportunity to host an event of this scale.”

The event will be held at the Central Queensland University Sports Centre on June 1 & 2, 2016.
