Council Officers will be conducting inspections at properties in Frenchville from 6 July to 27 September as part of Council’s annual Animal Inspection Program. Inspection times will take place between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.

Mount Morgan residents are being asked to limit water consumption to support the recovery of local water reserves following recent firefighting operations.
The town’s water supply has played an important role in supporting multiple firefighting operations across Mount Morgan over the last few days, resulting in lower reservoir levels.
While there is currently no threat to the town’s water supply, residents are being asked to limit non-essential water use until further notice, to help replenish reserves.

At this stage, the request is precautionary and voluntary and Council crews will continue to monitor reservoir levels closely and assess the need for any further measures.
Council thanks residents for their understanding and assistance and will provide an update once reserves have been replenished.
Council also acknowledges the efforts of emergency services personnel who have been working tirelessly to protect lives and property during recent firefighting operations.
