If your local business needs a helping hand when it comes to websites, social media, and video creation, then it’s time to sign up to Rockhampton Regional Council’s Business Support Webinars.
Advance Rockhampton, Council’s Economic Development, Tourism and Events arm, has joined forces with Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS) to deliver a webinar series aimed at local businesses who need help getting their online presence in shape.
Rockhampton Region Mayor, Margaret Strelow, urged local businesses to take advantage of the opportunity.
“These really are fantastic webinars,” said Mayor Strelow.
“Thriving online is a key part of running any successful business in the 21st century, but the COVID-19 crisis has made it even more critical.
“There are sessions on which social media platforms are best for your business, how to use online advertising effectively, and demystifying Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
“We also have sessions on building and improving your website, and photo and video content creation.
“The next session is in less than two weeks so I’d urge local businesses to sign up now before the spots run out.”
