As the much-anticipated school holidays approach, Rockhampton Regional Council is thrilled to announce a diverse list of activities tailored to entertain and inspire young minds throughout the upcoming break.

From March 29 to April 14, families in the region can look forward to a lineup of events promising fun, creativity, and exploration for all ages.

Rockhampton Regional Council Mayor Tony Williams said the school holiday program includes a wide range of activities spanning from arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and educational workshops.

"We're excited to offer our community a fantastic selection of activities during the upcoming school holidays," Mayor Williams said.

"Our aim is to provide children and families with enriching experiences that not only entertain but also stimulate their imagination and curiosity.

“Get revved up for our major Easter event, Rare Spares Rockynats, get up close and personal with an animal encounter at the Zoo, head inside to a crafty activity at the library, or spend an afternoon outdoors at a local park - there is so much on offer.

“These activities not only offer experiences for the community, but they provide an economic boost encouraging more activity in the Region.

“Join us in making these school holidays a time of laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments for the whole family.”
