Community notice – Hansens Bridge works

Rockhampton Regional Council wishes to advise residents that a project to replace Hansens Bridge on Calmorin Road in Ridgelands will commence this week.

• The current timber structure is being demolished and will be replaced with concrete box culverts to enhance access for the local community and facilitate higher productivity access for vehicles;
• The project is expected to take 8 weeks to complete;
• For the duration of the works residents will be able to use the side track;
• The project is jointly funded by Round 3 of the Australian Government Bridges Renewal Program and Rockhampton Regional Council;
• The total budget for the project is $926,500, equally funded by the Bridges Renewal Program and Rockhampton Regional Council.
